Both new listings and closings again surpassed 2023 volumes during the week ended Jan. 29, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR).

Realtors entered 2,597 new listings into the MLS, an 18.5% increase year over year. Meanwhile, 1,273 homes sold during the week, up 4.5% from the same week in 2023.

Pending listings, however, declined annually. Just over 2,000 listings went under contract, a 4.4% decline year over year.
