New listings rose above 2023 volumes in the 16th week of the year, according to the latest Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Realtors entered 3,632 properties into the MLS during the week, a 25.6% increase over the same week in 2023. Pending and closed listings both declined annually, however; pending listings fell 5.6%, with 2,479 properties going under contract, while closings dropped 6%, with 1,712 homes sold.

Meanwhile, listing views on HAR.com increased by 29.5% year over year.
