A Hunters Creek estate has returned to the market and reclaimed its position as the most expensive listing in Houston at nearly $50 million.

Known as “The Lodge,” the property at 107 Timberwilde Lane is inspired by Hearst Castle and the Biltmore Estate and designed by architect Ken Newberry. Situated on nine acres along Buffalo Bayou, the estate includes two full houses, a guard house, five-car garage, generator and sport court as well as a pool, wooded park area and full outdoor kitchen and bar.

The Lodge is listed by Walter Bering and Mary Elizabeth Hahnfield of Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty for $49,985,000.
