Houston listings climb 25.7% in September

Active single-family listings increased by 25.7% in September, rising to 30,681 homes from 24,405 a year earlier, according to the First Real Estate Snapshot of Houston (FRESH) Report from the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR). 

Meanwhile, Realtors added 12,878 properties to the Houston MLS, an 11.7% increase year over year.  

The average listing price dipped 0.1% to $431,211, down from $431,500 a year earlier. 

HAR issues the FRESH report at the beginning of each month.
