Closings inched up 1.2% year over year in Houston during the week ended Feb. 3, according to the latest Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houson Association of REALTORS®. Approximately 20 more homes sold compared to the same week in 2024.

Pending listings, however, dropped 7.8%, with 1,962 homes going under contract.

New listings retained their stronghold over 2024 volumes, though, as Realtors added 3,423 properties to the MLS during the week, a 16.1% increase year over year.
