New listings jump annually in Houston

New listings increased 21.7% in Houston during the week ended April 14, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Realtors added 4,275 properties to the MLS, up from 3,514 properties a year prior.

Pending and closed listings fell, however. Pending listings decreased 2.4% year over year, while closings decreased 9.7% year over year.

Off-market listings, meanwhile, increased 28% year over year, as sellers withdrew 1,709 properties from the market.
