Closed home sales increased 7.3% year over year during the week ended June 9, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Buyers closed on 1,749 properties during the week, up from 1,630 closings during the same week in 2024. That was the seventh straight week of year-over-year increases, HAR said.

Pending listings fell 4.7%, however, with 2,212 homes going under contract.

On a weekly basis, new listings have yet to dip below 2024 volumes this year, and Week 23 was no exception: Realtors entered 4,295 properties into the MLS, a 13.8% annual increase.
