Two Houston suburbs have secured spots on a new list of the 50 wealthiest in the United States, highlighting the region’s enduring affluence and desirability.
According to a recent report by GoBankingRates, West University Place and Bellaire ranked among the nation’s top suburbs based on median household income, home values and other economic indicators.
GoBankingRates looked at cities with 5,000 or more households and narrowed it down to the 50 cities with the highest average household income. The typical home value in 2024 and metro area location were gathered to create the rankings.
West University Place ranked No. 3
The average household income is $403,845, with a typical home value of $1,605,049.
Bellaire ranked No. 25
The average household income is $294,605, with a typical home value of $1,078,719.
