The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) has appointed Leo Pareja as their new president elect, as well as four new additions to the board, according to a statement released by NAHREP.

“Leo Pareja is an outstanding example of the talented, successful professionals that make up our NAHREP membership,” said Gary Acosta, CEO and co-founder of NAHREP. “We are excited to welcome Leo to our leadership team and look forward to an even more successful 2016.”

Pareja was previously recognized by NAHREP as being one of the top 250 real estate agents in the country, coming in at the second spot on the list. Pareja initially became involved with NAHREP in 2012 when he was elected as director of the national board.

Other additions to the board include Luis Padilla of RE/MAX Oceanside Realty in Miami; Danny Hernandez of Vista Resources Realty in Kissimmee, FL; David Acosta of David Acosta Group in El Paso; and Pamela Valencia of Solutions Real Estate in Carlsbad, CA, according to NAHREP’s statement.

Joe Nery, a partner with Nery, Richardson, LLC in Chicago who is currently serving as president elect, will assume his position as president in March.
