What was your first job in the realty industry? Started with Keller Williams Pearland.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Look at homes on Har.com.

Where did you grow up? Missouri city.

Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to be in healthcare, and actually hold a doctoral degree in a healthcare field.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Rosa Parks, because I strive daily to be a better person and to actually stand for something meaningful.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? BJ’s in Pearland.

What do you love most about the industry? I love that I have the ability to help change a person’s life. Helping them improve their credit or buy their first home, these are events that a person never forgets and I enjoy being able to assist with that.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I actually try to become a part of my client’s family – not just be their agent. I don’t want to oversell a person; it’s not just about making a commission with me.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Getting people to understand that they can’t always afford what they want.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Mostly I get my clients through referrals, so I’ve been blessed to not have to do a lot of networking. But when I do it’s usually at model home events.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? Closing a home of a client that tried to buy a home for four years. The day I sat at the closing table with her I felt accomplished

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “50 shades of Grey.”

What is your favorite restaurant? BJ’s.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston? The musuem of natural science.

What is your favorite city after Houston? New Orleans.
