Trendmaker Homes to add 394 new units in 2020

by Kerrie Kennedy

Houston-based Trendmaker Homes is kicking off the year with two new residential projects.

The first, a gated community of 131 homes in Katy, is slated for a fall 2020 grand opening. Located directly off Westpark Tollway, Haven at Seven Lakes will feature 131 homes ranging from 2,000 to 3,200 square feet with customizable floor plans, high ceilings and natural light.

When complete, the community will include amenities such as a 4-acre lake, a park and pavilion area, an extensive trail network throughout the neighborhood, and a 5-acre retail development.

“Coupled with the opportunity to be in a great, established school district, homeowners will also benefit from the lower tax rate of owning new homes in a mature district,” said Joe Mandola, division president at Trendmaker Homes Houston.

The second project, a joint venture with Toll Brothers, will deliver 263 new single-family homes as one of the final phases of Lakes at Creekside, a master-planned community south of The Woodlands in the northwest Houston metro submarket of Tomball. It is the first joint venture between the two builders in Houston.

“Teaming up with Toll Brothers … creates a unique residential development approach which blends location, land and luxury lifestyle,” said Mandola. “The connection supports our strategy of building quality, innovative homes in locations with convenient access to major transportation, employment corridors and schools.”

With first deliveries slated for the third quarter of 2020, the new neighborhood will feature 45-, 50- and 60-foot homesites. Amenities will include a fitness and activity center, swimming pool and pavilion, playgrounds, pocket parks, and eight lakes.
