Taylor Morrison names new Houston division president

by Kerrie Kennedy

Taylor Morrison Home Corporation, the nation’s fifth largest homebuilder, has named Todd Rasmussen as the new division president for Houston.

Rasmussen is replacing Curt VanHyfte, who is stepping into a new role with the company. A veteran in the home building industry, Rasmussen has been with Taylor Morrison for 15 years, most recently as Houston’s vice president of operations.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Todd in this role and continue the legacy our Houston team has built over the years,” said Charlie Enochs, area president of Taylor Morrison’s central region, in a press release. “He has proven again and again to be an invaluable member of the Houston team and the Taylor Morrison family.”

Rasmussen has also served as vice president of finance for Taylor Morrison in Houston and as Orlando division controller.

“I am thrilled to take on this new role,” added Rasmussen. “Homebuilding is my passion and being able to lead this dynamic team and continue growing the Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes brands in Houston is a career highlight for me.”

Taylor Morrison currently has 53 communities in the Greater Houston area.
