Coventry Homes has begun selling new homes in The Highlands, a new master-planned community located in Porter. According to a press release, homes will be situated on 45- and 60-foot homesites, with two model homes opening later this year.
Homes on the 45-foot sites are priced from the upper $200,000s and have 11 floor plans ranging from 1,678 to 2,592 square feet. Features include flex rooms, large living areas, island kitchens, game rooms and two- to three-car garages.
Designs for 60-foot sites are priced from the lower $400,000s, with 14 floor plans ranging from 2,479 to 4,160 square feet. Features include studies, covered patios, formal dining and game rooms. Most plans feature three-car garages.
According to the release, both size homesites can be customized with a range of other options, such as Texas-sized patios, outdoor kitchens, extra bedrooms and more.
“Buyers are going to love the options available to them in this spectacular community,” Paul Blackburn, region president for McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc., said in the release. McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc. is Coventry Homes’ parent company. “Our floor plans will satisfy the needs and budgets of all buyers. Not only that, our Eco Smart homes are ‘green’ and will save them money on their energy bills for years to come.”
Covering 2,310 acres, the new community is near shopping, dining and entertainment in The Woodlands, Spring and New Caney. The location provides easy access to Highway 59, the Grand Parkway and Interstate 45.
Planned amenities include a semi-private golf course, fitness center, tennis courts, water park with resort-style pool and lazy river, miles of hiking and biking trails, full-time lifestyle director, event lawn, playgrounds, and amenity lake. Students will be zoned to New Caney ISD.
