New builder Autograph Homes begins construction in Houston area

by Emily Marek

Autograph Homes, a new homebuilder founded by industry veteran James Miller, began construction on its first Houston-area homes.

The builder’s current projects include three semi-custom builds in Spring Branch and three model homes at Two Step Farm in Montgomery. The models showcase options from five available floor plans, which range from 1,765 to 2,497 square feet. Pricing will start in the mid-$300,000s.

“It’s exciting to build a company from the ground up,” Miller said in a press release. “I’ve been in this market a long time, working with established builders managing operations throughout the state and contributing to the construction of more than 20,000 homes. Now I’m taking that experience and using it to create something dynamic that stays in step with the constantly evolving needs of Houston-area homebuyers.”

The builder will also offer seven additional floor plans when it begins construction at Sundance Cove in Crosby and Aldeana in Bonney. Those homes will be priced from the low $300,000s and the high $200,000s, respectively.

Miller said he plans to announce construction in two more communities before the end of the year.

“In five years, we want Autograph Homes to be an established brand in the Houston new-homebuilding space with a presence in the most widely recognized communities in the region,” added Miller.
