Lovett Homes will build a gated community in the Mid Lane neighborhood in Houston’s River Oaks area. The builder first developed residences in the neighborhood over 40 years ago.

Lovett’s plans for the gated enclave include six luxury estates ranging from 3,300 to 4,500 square feet. Home designs feature 2.5 stories, four bedrooms, 4.5 to 5.5 bathrooms, 12-foot ceilings and private outdoor spaces with patios and gardens. Certain designs also offer first-floor offices and three-car garages. Additional customization options are available to buyers who purchase early in the building process.

“Mid Lane has a special significance for Lovett because we were building here more than 40 years ago, when this area looked very different than it does today,” project collaborator Robert Davis said in a press release. “What has emerged is a very distinctive residential environment — one that offers the convenience and ease of a lock-and-leave lifestyle without asking buyers to compromise on space, privacy or quality.”
