10 most-expensive active listings in Texas

by Lindsey Wells

The demand for luxury homes in Texas is strong, as record-high prices and low inventory have led to a spike in homes sold in the million-dollar-and-up range.

The Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) recently reported that Houston’s luxury market saw a 24.9% year-over-year sales gain in April.

Among the high-end real estate to hit the Houston market in April was a 12,522-square-foot home in Sherwood Forest. This five-bedroom estate was the fifth priciest home listed for sale in the Lone Star State in the last month, according to a new HAR report.

Located at 325 W. Friar Tuck Ln., the home was listed for $12,750,000 by Christine Laborde of Compass Real Estate, Houston.
