Builders revealed for 630-acre Harvest Green development

by Lindsey Wells

Johnson Development recently announced a selection of nine builders to deliver homes in the newest section of Harvest Green, adjacent to the original Harvest Green community.

The acreage will add 452 home sites to the community, which will be delivered to builders between September and November, according to a press release. Model homes are expected to start construction this fall, with sales beginning around the same time.

Builders offering homes in the first phase of the development are Coventry Homes on 55- and 75-foot sites; D.R. Horton on 50-foot sites; David Weekley Homes on 45- and 65-foot sites; and Highland Homes on 40- and 65-foot sites.

Other builders include Lennar, with homes for 55-foot sites; Newmark Homes, 50-foot sites; Perry Homes, 45- and 60-foot sites; Tri Pointe Homes, 40- and 75-foot sites; and Westin Homes, 60-foot sites.

“All of these builders had very successful programs in the first section of Harvest Green, and we expect them to do equally well in our expanded section,” said Jerry Ulke, general manager of Harvest Green. “Realtors and prospective home buyers have been anxiously awaiting this announcement and the start of home sales.”

The new section of Harvest Green will offer additional community amenities, including parks, trails, green space and a pool.
