What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

I have a project scheduling background in oil & gas and energy. So all my life prior to real estate I was managing multimillion-dollar projects for big corporations

Where did you grow up?

I was born in California but raised in Houston. I consider myself your southern Texas gal!

Growing up, what did you want to be?

Growing up I wanted to be a veterinarian.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

Biggest stress relievers for me are meditation, reading or listening to some inspirational stories, and when I can get away I love traveling with my family!

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Françoise Bettencourt Meyers! Although she inherited wealth, she learned to grow it and maintain it and turn it into billions! I would definitely love to be able to get some entrepreneur tips from her and a few tips on how to keep going when you don’t physically see it or you feel like quitting!

What is Houston’s best-kept secret?

Food, Houston has some amazing foodie places!

What do you love most about the industry?

I love meeting new people and helping them in the process of what will be their dream or biggest investment in their lives!

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

Competition.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

Consistency, networking and marketing! Always stay on top on the forefront so that you never lose visibility!

 
What’s your favorite meal in Houston?

I love me some Tex Mex food!

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?

The Astrodome because it brings back childhood memories, and it’s a classic to Houston!

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

During a confirmed showing, I walked in on a person who was sitting in their underwear watching TV and didn’t mind, they said walk on in!

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

That although I’m in my young 30s, I’ve been married to my high school sweet years for 15+ years!

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?

Aspen, Colorado! I am a mountain girl, and I love sitting on the porch with a hot cup of coffee just staring off into the mountains, covered in an oversized blanket!

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?

Consistency, perseverance and mindset! Never doubt your own abilities!

Who are your favorite people to follow on social media?

I really don’t follow and specific person, rather I follow pages that offer inspiration and motivational quotes! Seeing those posts constantly pop up brings hope on those gray gloomy days!
