What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I was involved in hospitality management for close to a decade prior to making the transition to real estate. I found that many of my personal skills were highly transferable.

Where did you grow up?
I split time between Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Boca Raton, Florida.

Growing up, what did you want to be?
I wanted to own my own restaurants and create a brand that would become a household name.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I enjoy fishing and going to the gym to help get my mind off of a tough day.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
I would love to have coffee with Steve Jobs. I think his ability to execute on a vision and create a worldwide brand is a huge inspiration for anyone looking to build a personal brand.

What is Houston’s best kept secret?
The restaurant scene! It is so exciting to see so many independent restaurant owners show their creativity through well executed food and beverage programs.

What do you love most about the industry?
The ability to connect with people from all different backgrounds and walks of life.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Learning all the ins and outs of the industry. There is so much to learn and just when you think you’ve got it figured out, a curve ball gets thrown your way.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Get in front of as many new faces as possible. Your business is built on relationships, which you have to foster and grow to see success.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to?
I recently finished “Sell it Like Serhant” and have recently moved on to “Sold” by David Greene.

What’s your favorite meal in Houston?
This is a tough one, but I would have to say popcorn chicken and a burger from The Toasted Coconut.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
The Niels Esperson Building

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I once had a client startle herself because she turned a corner and saw someone in the bathroom — it was her own reflection in a full-length mirror. We laughed the entire tour.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
Growing up, I was involved in martial arts for close to 15 years.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
I love vacationing in the Bahamas. I have quite a bit of family throughout the islands and I love to spend time on the beach.

Make the jump and go all in!
