What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Before transitioning into real estate, I was a procurement manager for a medical clinic. It was a fast-paced role that required strong negotiation, organization and problem-solving skills.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in São Paulo, Brazil. I moved to the United States 26 years ago, and today I proudly call Houston home.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
Honestly, I didn’t have one specific dream career growing up. I was always curious and interested in learning.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I like to slow down and reconnect with the things that ground me. I enjoy having a good cup of coffee, spending time with my kids, exercising more, self care or simply going for a walk. Traveling also helps me reset and come back with a fresh perspective.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Oprah Winfrey. I’ve always admired her resilience, authenticity and ability to inspire people through her story. She built an extraordinary career while staying true to her values, and I think a conversation with her would be both inspiring and deeply meaningful.
What is Houston’s best kept secret?
Houston’s diversity is its best-kept secret. You can experience incredible cuisine and cultures from around the world without ever leaving the city. It’s one of the most welcoming and internationally connected places in the country.
What do you love most about the industry?
I love that real estate goes far beyond buying and selling homes. It’s about helping people build wealth, create stability, guide them through hardship and find a place where they can truly feel at home. Being part of such an important milestone in my clients’ lives is what makes this career so rewarding.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
The most challenging part is helping clients navigate uncertainty. Whether it’s changing market conditions, negotiations, or unexpected obstacles, my job is to provide clarity, honest advice, and a steady hand throughout the process. That’s also what I find most rewarding.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
My best advice is to lead with relationships instead of transactions. Be authentic, follow up consistently, and genuinely care about helping people. Trust takes time to build, but it’s the foundation of a sustainable real estate business.
What’s your favorite meal in Houston?
Some of my favorite places are Uchi for sushi, Caracol for amazing Mexican coastal cuisine and La Cocina de Roberto for authentic, comforting Mexican food. Each one offers a completely different experience, and I love them all.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
The Menil Collection. I love its clean, understated architecture and the way it blends with the surrounding neighborhood.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I actually fainted during a showing once. It was an extremely hot Texas day, and after running from appointment to appointment, the heat finally caught up with me. Thankfully I was fine, but it’s definitely a story my clients and I still laugh about today.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
People are often surprised to learn that I’m an introvert. Even though my job is very social, I recharge by spending quiet time with myself, reading, traveling or simply enjoying a good cup of coffee.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
I love places by the sea, especially destinations that combine natural beauty with history and culture. There’s something about being near the water that helps me recharge.

Success follows consistency, patience and genuine relationships.

I enjoy following people who challenge the way I think and inspire personal growth. Mel Robbins, Oprah, Simon Sinek, Brené Brown and Tom Ferry are a few favorites because they encourage self-awareness, resilience and living with intention.
