This mysterious Texas pyramid can be yours for $80k

by Emily Marek

You might just mistake the Texas plains for ancient Egypt when driving past this pyramid-shaped home in Fort Davis. The mysterious property appeared on Zillow in February and immediately generated attention — especially because the listing includes no pictures of the inside.

Ofelia McDonald of Pauly Presley Realty, the listing agent behind this buzz-worthy property, says that while the interior certainly needs work, the property has a “funky” charm that’s only heightened by the nearby mountain views. “It’s a cosmic opportunity,” McDonald said. “It has great possibilities for the person who has the right energy.”

The pyramid, which spans 2,116 square feet, was built in 1986 and includes one bedroom and one bathroom. Located at 300 San Juan Drive in Fort Davis, the residence sits on a half-acre of land within walking distance from grocery stores and shopping in the downtown area.

The San Juan pyramid can be yours for only $80,000.
