Pre-leasing is underway for Wingspan, Bridgeland’s first build-to-rent neighborhood. The Howard Hughes community will welcome its first residents in October.

Spanning 263 homes in Bridgeland’s Prairieland Village, Wingspan will include both attached and detached single-family homes as well as casita-style homes, townhomes and duplexes.

“Build-to-rent neighborhoods are rapidly growing in popularity nationwide, especially in the Houston region,” said Travis Gunn, vice president of vertical development at Howard Hughes. “Wingspan has wide appeal to renters in all varying stages of life, from growing families to empty nesters.”

Wingspan residents will have access to on-site amenities including a pool, playground, pet park and outdoor activity spaces. The neighborhood sits just south of Chrysalis Lake.

Residences in Wingspan will be zoned to Cy-Fair Independent School District. Children will attend schools at Bridgeland’s K-12 educational village, comprised of Wells Elementary School, Sprague Middle School and Bridgeland High School. There are currently seven existing or planned public schools in the Bridgeland master-planned community, as well as a private school, charter school and three preschools.
