Douglas Elliman announced the winners of the 2024 Ellie Awards, which honored the brokerage’s top performing agents from last year. Many Houston agents and teams were among the honorees.
“As we reflect on 2023, I am once again reminded of how inspired I am by our Texas agents,” Stephen Kotler, CEO of brokerage, western region, said in a press release. “They overcame challenges, creatively marketed their listings and expanded their networks, and I am proud to congratulate them on their impressive achievements at this year’s Ellies.”
One of the top-producing Texas agents was Renay Cohen, who ranked as the No. 1 agent in the state by gross commission income (GCI) and sales transactions and No. 2 by sales volume, rental GCI and rental transactions. Cohen was also honored with the Pinnacle Club Award, which recognizes agents and teams who made over $1 million in 2023.
Other Houston agents in the top five were Rosie Meyers, who ranked No. 4 in Texas by sales GCI, sales transactions, rental GCI and rental transactions and No. 5 by sales volume; Moni Bohnisch, who ranked No. 5 by sales GCI and No. 4 by sales volume; Harris Benson, who ranked No. 5 by sales transactions and rental transactions; and Paola Benitez, who ranked No. 1 by rental GCI and rental transactions.
Among the top-producing Houston-area teams were The Banks Group, which ranked as the No. 5 team in the state by sales GCI, sales volume and sales transactions and No. 3 by rental GCI; and the Living Luxxe Group, which ranked No. 4 by sales transactions, No. 5 by rental GCI and No. 2 by rental transactions.
Additionally, Douglas Elliman recognized agent Christina Rodriguez as its Rookie of the Year.
