Top-performing Douglas Elliman agents honored at annual Ellie Awards

by Emily Marek

Douglas Elliman honored its top agents around the nation at the annual Ellie Awards. Top-performers from Houston, Dallas and Austin were recognized for their work throughout 2022 at the ceremony March 8.

“As an agent driven brokerage with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, we are innately focused on the next thing, the next deal, the next move,” President and Chief Executive Officer Scott Durkin said in a news release. “The Ellies remind us how important it is to look back, take stock and heartily celebrate all we’ve accomplished together.”

Douglas Elliman Texas’ top agent by gross commission income (GCI), volume and transactions was Renay Cohen, a top-producer in Houston and The Woodlands.

The Sheleg Team, lead by Houston realtor Avi Sheleg, was identified as the top-producing large team by GCI and transactions, followed by runner up The Collective Real Estate Group, also based in Houston, who earned the top team award by volume. Taking home the prize for top medium team by GCI, volume and transactions was the Dallas group The Polsky Messer Team.

At the ceremony, Douglas Elliman also awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award to Houston Realtor Mark Menendez.
