Preleasing is underway at UNITi Montrose, a rental development from Civitas Capital Group and The Shelter Companies. The development offers a mix of co-living spaces, micro-units and traditional apartments.
“We are thrilled to introduce UNITi Montrose to the Houston community,” Mark Drumm, managing partner and co-founder of The Shelter Companies, said in a press release. “This development represents a new area in urban living, where convenience, community and value converge.”
Located at 701 Richmond Ave., UNITi Montrose is in close proximity to Texas Medical Center, the Central Business District, Rice University, the University of St. Thomas and the University of Houston. The location also provides easy access to public transit. The nine-story building includes 374 leasable bedrooms, with rent starting at $1,200 per month. Utilities, WiFi and cable are included in the monthly rent.
Residents have access to on-site amenities, including a pool, fitness center, podcast room, coworking spaces, meeting rooms, electric vehicle charging stations and dog wash stations, as well as approximately 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Don’t RENT! UNITi Montrose apartment complex is highly unprofessional! Corresponded with this apartment complex for 2 weeks and just as I was about to ask for an application to apply for a unit, the apartment complex went back on their word that all utilities would be included in the rent. Instead they informed me utilities are an extra $200 a month, in addition to the rent. When in fact, their own website clearly states utilities are included, and also their own email correspondences noted that as well. Complete bait and switch that wasted me 2 weeks of apartment searching! AVOID THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX
