Houston home sales increased 10.3% year over year during the week ended July 21, according to the latest Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Buyers closed on 1,864 properties during the week, up from 1,690 a year prior.

Pending listings increased 16.4% annually, with 2,181 homes going under contract.

New listings also saw a huge annual increase, with 4,207 properties added to the MLS during the week, a 26.6% increase year over year.
