The Joy Hub amenity center is now open for residents of Jubilee, a master-planned community in Hockley.

The Joy Hub features an 11,000-square-foot pool with the Clear Comfort Hydroxyl-Based Advanced Oxidation Process, a treatment system that uses 50% fewer chemicals than typical chlorinated pools.

“We’ve all gotten into a pool that has been heavily treated with chlorine that can lead to skin irritation and burning eyes,” June Tang, Jubilee vice president and general manager, said in a press release. “With the Clear Comfort system, you have clean water without heavy chemicals and disinfection byproducts. This process aligns perfectly with our vision to create a community that authentically promotes healthier living.”

Tang added that the Clear Comfort system is also known for reduced maintenance costs.

Residents will have access to additional amenities open in September, including a 2,000-square foot splash pad, event lawn and co-working lounge. A mixed-use event hall is also in development.
