The Greater Houston Builder’s Association hosted its annual Mid-Year Economic Forecast luncheon on June 16, which featured a presentation from Robert Dietz, chief economist for the National Association of Home Builders. The event drew more than 800 attendees.
Dietz’s presentation covered topics including inflation, interest rates, housing affordability, economic growth and housing demand, highlighting the Houston housing market’s strength and resilience.
“Providing our members with access to industry-leading expertise is one of the many ways GHBA helps them stay informed and prepared,” GHBA President Chis Bolio said in a press release. “We were honored to welcome Dr. Dietz and grateful to everyone who joined us for this important discussion.”
