With four years of real estate experience behind him and a bright future ahead, Blake Baker can’t wait to see where his career takes him. “I just want to put my head down and work hard for the next 30 years and become the premier agent in the Houston Bay Area,” says Baker, a Realtor at RE/MAX 5 Star Realty and a Pasadena native.

Prioritizing relationship-building and customer service, Baker is easily accessible and quick to connect with his clients, qualities that never go unnoticed. “My past clients have told me that my responsiveness to their phone calls and emails was exceptional compared to agents they have used in the past,” he says. He notes that his ability to make clients feel like a friend or family member is an asset in an industry that can be overly transactional, and his efforts have been rewarded through countless referrals from former clients, real estate professionals and community members.

In 2020, Baker doubled his business and joined the RE/MAX Platinum Club for the first time. “I have had my eye on it for the last three years, so when I finally did it, it was pretty sweet,” he says of the accomplishment. He also was named one of Houston Real Producers’ Top 40 Under 40 last year, and from 2017 to 2019 he placed within the RE/MAX 100% Club.

2020 was a milestone year for Baker on a personal level, too. “I finally pulled the trigger and bought a new home after being in my previous one for seven years and started making some moves on other sources of residual income for myself,” he shares.

Like many of his officemates, Baker donates part of his commissions to Children’s Miracle Network. Outside of work, he loves exercising indoors and out, playing Xbox and listening to music of all kinds.
