Despite decreased home sales in the second half of the year, the luxury sector remained a thriving component of Houston’s real estate market throughout 2022.

According to the Houston Association of REALTORS®, the most expensive home sold this year was a 26,638-square-foot mansion in the Bayou Woods subdivision, which ranks as the most expensive Houston MLS listing to date.
