New Hope Housing recently broke ground on New Hope Housing Ennis, an age-restricted affordable housing community in the East End neighborhood of downtown Houston.

Woodforest has contracted TIPLER Group to complete the build out of Pine Island, a luxury, gated golf course neighborhood within the master-planned community.

Starwood Land and Land Tejas have begun development on Canterra Creek, a new master-planned community in Brazoria County.

Johnson Development began the first phase of development in Kresston, a master-planned community in Montgomery County.

Located at 2240 Mimosa Drive, the development will include 16 single-floor garden residences, each with private covered terraces.

Declining interest rates spurred the increase. 

Meridiana, a master-planned community in Iowa Colony, has expanded its lineup of homebuilders with the addition of Tricoast Homes and Westin Homes.

Located in Harris County along the FM 2920 corridor, Sorella will include 838 homes on 40- and 50-foot lots.

Chesmar Homes, Coventry Homes, Lennar, Village Builders and Westin Homes will construct model homes in The Trails, with first deliveries expected this spring.

The Orchard Collection is located in a gated section of Pomona that features 60-foot homesites.

Shea Homes, the developer, and Millis Construction, the builder, broke ground on The Arbor on Dec. 20.

Pre-sales have begun in Gates Crossing, a 1,899-acre development on the banks of the Brazos River.

Situated in North Houston, Teaswood Avenue is located three miles from Lake Conroe and 15 miles from The Woodlands.

Terrata Homes, the luxury arm of LGI Homes, is now building in Sunterra, a master-planned community in Katy.

Plans for the development include approximately 1,400 single-family homes, a 4.7-acre recreation center with a resort-style pool, playground and clubhouse, over 130 acres of green spaces and an on-site school.
