Texas artist Jeffie Brewer was commissioned to build 13 colorful sculptures in ARTAVIA, an art-centric master-planned community in the Conroe area.

Each of ARTAVIA’s 13 model homes will have a custom sculpture from Brewer in the back yard. The art installations range from animal statues, like his orange Giraffe or Thin Bunny, to whimsical abstract pieces, like Bird on Tree or “I do what I want,” a long-legged violet unicorn.

Brewer will hold a “meet the artist” exhibit on March 23 during ARTAVIA’s model park grand opening. Homebuyers, as well as the general public, will have the opportunity to view the model homes and Brewer’s art.

Homes in ARTAVIA range in price from $290,000 to over $800,000. Builders include Beazer Homes, Chesmar Homes, Coventry Homes, David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes, J. Patrick Homes, Jamestown Estate Homes, Lennar, Perry Homes, Ravenna Homes and Westin Homes.

On-site amenities include a five-acre lake with kayak and paddle boat launch/rental, clubhouse with event rooms, 24-hour fitness center and the Palate Cafe, a community restaurant.
