Leslie Lerner, a fourth-generation Houstonian and former schoolteacher, prides herself on being an educator versus a pushy salesperson. Her priority has always been to educate her clients so they can make good decisions when buying or selling a home. Lerner states, “I always want to share my knowledge and experience. It is very important to guide clients through the real estate process — understanding market data, pricing, contracts, negotiation, inspections and closing procedures.”

Seven years ago, after noticing technology was changing the way buyers and sellers approached the real estate process, Lerner combined her love of education, customer service and sales to open Leslie Lerner Properties, Houston’s first full-service, flat-fee listing and rebated commission brokerage. Although Lerner offers lower commission rates, clients testify she is client-centric, delivers a high level of service and always goes the extra miles for those she represents.

Known for her honesty and expert knowledge of the local market, Lerner is a trusted industry professional and adheres to a strict set of personal and professional ethics. Clients often characterize Lerner as one of the hardest working and most knowledgeable professionals they have worked with.

Lerner was appointed to the Houston Association of Realtors’ Technology Advisory Group in 2020. She is a member of the Texas Association of Realtors, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Bellaire High School Alumni Association, Bellaire High School Safety Committee as well as other nonprofits. Additionally, she is a longtime member of the Houstonian Club and a former member of the Houstonian Club Advisory Board.
