Growing up in Houston, Sonya M. Caruso learned early the value of hard work and consistency while working for her father’s construction company. With a foundation built on respect and service, she naturally gravitated toward helping others in their homeownership journeys. Her path into lending began when her uncle — a homebuilder with an in-house mortgage company — asked for her assistance. It was when working under the mentorship of a seasoned loan officer that Caruso discovered a passion for mortgage lending that would become her life’s work.

Now a senior home lending advisor with JPMorganChase and a 23-year industry veteran, Caruso is known for her empathetic, customer-first approach. Clients consistently praise her responsiveness, knowledge and ability to make the lending process stress-free. She credits her success to a genuine love for helping people and a deep understanding of their needs. Backed by Chase’s nationwide resources and the support of a dedicated loan processor, Caruso builds long-term relationships with clients. Most of her business stems from repeat clientele, bank partnerships and referrals from real estate professionals.

Caruso holds membership with the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and was honored with the National Achievers Award in 2022. She remains committed to advancing professional excellence in lending while staying rooted in the values that shaped her career.

In her personal time, Caruso enjoys playing pickleball, reading and diving into true crime podcasts. She is a proud grandmother and actively supports the Houston Food Bank and Child Advocates of Fort Bend.
