Texas Exchange Bank Expands into Houston

by Houston Agent

With the opening of two loan production offices, Texas Exchange Bank has officially made its way into Houston. According to the bank, the new offices were opened in response to a demand for increased commercial loans.

The two new Houston offices are also being joined by one in Austin, which also exists in response to a high demand for commercial loans.

To operate the Houston branches, Texas Exchange has hired Lloyd Whatley, former banking center president and manager at Prosperity Bank; Scott Smith, former president of Plains State Bank; and Michele Alvarado, former manager of the real estate lending group for First Bank.

Texas Exchange’s Houston locations are at 20333 State Highway 249 in northwest Houston, and 1330 Post Oak Boulevard near the Galleria.
