A commercial real estate property manager. I managed over 1.5 million square feet of retail and office space.

Where did you grow up?
In my early childhood I lived in Mexico City, went to junior and high school in San Antonio, college in Cincinnatti, Ohio, and have been back in Texas for the past 13 years.

What is your favorite free-time activity?
Yoga or enjoying a nice bottle of wine with friends.

Growing up, what did you want to be?
A powerful business woman.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be?
Hillary Clinton; she has been an inspiration to me for years. She is a strong and intelligent woman that is not afraid to make decisions, yet she is always composed.

What do you love most about the industry?
It’s never boring. I get to meet new people all the time from all walks of life.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I opened my own company five years ago when everyone was getting out of the industry. I am involved with committees at HAR, (International Advisory Group, and Management Central).  I keep up with changes in the industry, lending and real estate trend. I invest in real estate and guide my clients through the process with ease.

Time management. As a broker, I am constantly interrupted with phone calls, walk-ins and calls. It’s hard to ignore the clients, or agents. They are all important and need my attention.

I network with other investors, past clients, friends and at business luncheons.

Opening and owning my real estate company.
