Johnson Development Services, on behalf of Beazer Homes and Perry Homes, has announced that it is expanding Amira, adding 113 acres that will translate to more than 400 additional homesites to the Tomball community.
The additional land is located along the northern edge of Amira, which is just north of the Grand Parkway east of Mueschke Road.
“This addition brings our total acreage to just shy of 500 acres,” said Johnson Development Services President Michael Cox in a press release. “At build-out, our community will be home to more than 1,500 families who will enjoy Amira’s convenient location and very generous amenity package.”
Formerly the site of a working ranch for Egyptian Arabian horses and an entertainment venue, Amira opened last fall and features a 7,000-square-foot recreation center with a fitness room, yoga studio, children’s reading nook and meeting space. The building is anchored by a resort-style pool flanked by 3,000 square feet of covered patio, along with a dog park, playground and open event lawn.
Beazer Homes offers floor plans from the $220,000s and Perry Homes’ designs in Amira are priced from the $240,000s. The builders have opened six model homes in the community.
