Imperial kicks off Home Sweet Home fall tour

Imperial in Sugar Land is opening model homes for a month-long tour this October.

Three models will be featured during the Home Sweet Home Fall Home Tour, including Darling Homes’ City Collection in Imperial, featuring two-story homes priced from the $390,000s. Gracepoint Homes’ brownstone designs, inspired by traditional East Coast architecture, offer up to 3,699 square feet and are priced from the $570,000s. Meritage Homes’ Artisan Collection offers 11 traditional floor plans up to 4,032 square feet and priced from the $480,000s.

Located at the site of the historic Imperial Sugar Company along Oyster Creek near Highway 6 and Highway 90 Alt, Imperial is close to shopping, entertainment and the Imperial Farmers Market events at Constellation Field.

Model home tours are available Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM and noon to 5 PM Sundays. Sanitation has been enhanced due to COVID-19 concerns and social distancing will be in place. Appointments are recommended.

The models can also be toured virtually at www.ImperialSugarLand.com/FallHomeTour. Site visitors are encouraged to register to win a $1,500 gift card to Gallery Furniture.

Riverstone opens model homes to the public

Riverstone in Fort Bend County is opening the doors to four model homes — including one priced more than $1.5 million — during its Fall Home Tour.

Boasting a Sugar Land address, Riverstone features home designs from Darling Homes and Taylor Morrison priced from the $400,000s. Westport offers townhomes in The Manors priced from the $390,000s as well as custom homes priced into the millions in the Majestic Pointe neighborhood.

Located along Highway 6 approximately three miles from U.S. 69 and four miles from the Fort Bend Parkway, Riverstone offers a variety of amenities including multiple pools, a dog park, a fitness center, tennis courts and trails. Students attend schools in the Fort Bend Independent School District, including on-site Sullivan Elementary.

“We are nearing the end of our development cycle in Riverstone, so the chances to buy a new home in our community are dwindling,” said Riverstone VP Trey Reichert in a press release. “The home tour provides an excellent opportunity to see what’s available in Riverstone and lock in your preferred homesite.”

Models by Darling Homes and Taylor Morrison will be open daily in the Johnson Development community from 10 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 PM on Sundays Models by Westport Homes are mostly by appointment only, although the model at The Manors enclave will be open noon to 5 PM. Saturday and Sundays Safety protocols are in place and social distancing is in effect.
