Hamilton Thomas Homes launches in Houston market

by Lindsey Wells

Hamilton Thomas Homes, a new Houston-area builder, has announced plans to build its first community in Balmoral.

Led by Jennifer Keller, Hamilton Thomas Homes broke ground in October in Balmoral, where it will build 31 homes on 45-foot sites. Homes will range from 1,700 to 3,000 square feet, with pricing in the mid-$300,000s, according to a press release.

Keller boasts more than 25 years of experience in Houston’s real estate market, getting her start in real estate at AECOM/Turner Collie & Braden. She has also worked at KB Home, developer Land Tejas and William Lyon Homes. Joining Keller at Hamilton Thomas Homes are Davin Toruta as vice president of operations and Chynelle Munnilal, who serves as finance director.

“Our current team has more than 50 years of experience, and we are drawing on that expertise to develop modern home designs that will resonate with how people are living right now,” said Keller, president and COO of Hamilton Thomas Homes. “We are pleased that our home designs will be introduced to Houston in Land Tejas’ highly amenitized communities, which offer home-buyers great choices for quality schools, retail shopping and entertainment.”

Following the construction start in Balmoral, Hamilton Thomas Homes will begin building in Marvida, a master-planned community in Cypress, where it will construct 66 homes on 60-foot sites. A 3,298-square-foot model home will feature four bedrooms, a game room, a study, a three-car garage and the option for a guest suite downstairs. Pricing in Marvida will be from the low $400,000s.

In December, Hamilton Thomas Homes expects to begin construction in Katy’s Sunterra community. Priced from the mid-$300,000s, homes will be built on 45-foot lots and range from 1,700 to 3,000 square feet. A 2,797-square-foot model home will be a four-bedroom design with a standard second downstairs bedroom, a game room and a flex room that can be used as a study.
