Development begins on new Fort Bend community

by Lindsey Wells

Starwood Land, a nationwide developer of residential master-planned communities, has entered the development phase for Starbridge, a 933-acre community in Fort Bend County that will include more than 2,000 homes.

Land Tejas, Starwood Land’s newly acquired partner, will lead development activities, according to a press release.

The first phase of Starbridge is projected to be available in early 2023, according to John Brian, east region president of Starwood Land. However, participating builders and price points for homes have not been determined.

“Fort Bend County continues to be a very popular destination for homeowners,” Brian added. “Starbridge will include many of Houston’s top home-builders, a variety of family-oriented amenities and a well-planned community design. Land Tejas has developed some of Houston’s finest communities, and Starbridge will continue that legacy.”
