Johnson Development will open a new pool complex in The Crest section of its Montgomery master-planned community, Woodforest, this summer. The pool, Woodforest’s third, will sit adjacent to a 4,000-square-foot party pavilion.

The amenity will be called The Vue at The Crest Park and will also include a commercial catering kitchen and an open lawn with access to nature trails that link The Crest to other Woodforest neighborhoods. Future iterations of the park could include a dog park and a disc golf course, according to Johnson Development.

“This new amenity is a welcome addition to the many amenities the nearly 12,000 residents of Woodforest already enjoy,” said Woodforest Vice President and General Manager Virgil Yoakum in a press release. “The Vue will not only give residents added access to our most popular types of amenities, it will bring something entirely new to the community.”

There are currently nearly 5,000 homes in Woodforest from builders Chesmar Homes, Lennar, Highland Homes, Perry Homes and Westin Homes. Fifty-five-foot home sites within The Crest neighborhood will be released to the latter three builders later in the year.
