Sunterra, Bridgeland and more named to RCLCO’s Top 50 Master-Planned Communities of 2023

Twelve master-planned communities in the Houston area were recognized by RCLCO Real Estate Consulting’s ranking of the top 50 MPCs in the country.

Sunterra, a Katy community developed by Land Tejas and Starwood Land, maintained its spot as the third-most popular community in the country based on 2023 sales. Sales increased by 63% annually, with 1,293 total sales during the year.

Bridgeland, meanwhile, jumped one spot from the company’s mid-year ranking: sales in the Howard Hughes Corporation development increased by 74% year over year, with 985 sales in 2023 compared to 567 in 2022.

Additional Houston MPCs in the top 25 were Marvida, which ranked No. 12 with 835 sales; Tamarron, which ranked No. 14 with 774 sales; Baytown Crossings, which ranked No. 19 with 638 sales; Caldwell Ranch, which ranked No. 21 with 633 sales; and Breckenridge Forest, which ranked No. 22 with 630 sales.

Moving into the latter half of the list, Sienna ranked No. 26 with 606 sales, Tavola ranked No. 29 with 573 sales, Meridiana ranked No. 37 with 497 sales, Elyson ranked No. 47 with 400 sales and Jordan Ranch ranked No. 50 with 385 sales.
