New listings jumped 28.2% in Houston during the week ended Jan. 13, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Realtors entered 3,387 properties into the MLS, compared to 2,643 properties during the same week in 2024.

Closings also rose annually, with 1,151 homes sold. That’s a 16.9% increase year over year. Pending listings, however, fell 4.2%, with 1,679 listings going under contract.
