Briarley Neighborhood Park, a new park within the Briarley master-planned community in Montgomery, just introduced the first Earthscape playground in the Houston area.
A 23-foot log tower and 15-foot slide are the centerpiece of the nature-inspired playplace, built by HD Outdoor Construction.
“When we saw this collection, we knew it would be perfect for our first community amenity,” Michael Cox, president of Briarley developer Johnson Land Ventures, said in a press release. “The park features both active and passive spaces, with a creek running through it, rocky areas and numerous existing trees. Bright-colored play structures would have been jarring in this setting. The log tower collection blends in beautifully.”
Plans for the four-acre Briarley Neighborhood Park also feature an amenity center, pool, pickleball court and fitness center.
Briarley’s new-home offerings range from 2,600 to over 5,600 square feet, with designs from Chesmar Homes, David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes, J. Patrick Homes and Perry Homes. Pricing ranges from $510,000 to over $1 million.
The community is located off Old Plantersville Road behind Montgomery High School.
