Certain Houston agents are carving their mark in the luxury industry — and their listing volumes speak for themselves.

AgentStory.com analyzed luxury home sales in Houston to determine which listing agents were responsible for the most sales in the $1 million-plus range during the time from November 2022 to October 2023.

The agent with the most $1 million-plus listings was Laura Sweeney of COMPASS RE Texas, who accomplished a sales volume of over $71.8 million across 19 transactions. Sweeney was followed by Walter Bering of Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, who also had 19 sales but achieved a sales volume of just under $50 million.

Bering was followed by Ruthie Porterfield of Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty with 10 sales, Cathy Blum of Greenwood King Properties with 10 sales, David Houston of New Leaf Real Estate with nine sales, Jana Bruce of COMPASS RE Texas with eight sales, Inga Smith of Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty with eight sales, Colleen Sherlock of Greenwood King Properties with eight sales, Clinton Simpson of Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty with eight sales and Courtney Robertson of COMPASS RE Texas with eight sales. Agents with the same number of sales were ranked based on sales volume.

Laura Sweeney was also the agent with the highest total sales volume of listings over $1 million, with a sales volume of $71,803,373.

Sweeney was followed by Walter Bering with $49,593,869, Ruthie Porterfield with $23,061,743, Cathy Blum with $16,814,166, David Houston with $12,427,000, Jana Bruce with $15,094,855, Inga Smith with $11,804,300, Colleen Sherlock with $11,664,000, Clinton Simpson with $10,358,000 and Courtney Robertson with $9,516,372.
