Closed and pending listings rose in Houston during the week ended Dec. 16, as did new listings.

According to the Houston Association of REALTORS’® Weekly Activity Snapshot, closed home sales increased 5.8% year over year, with 1,495 properties sold, while pending listings rose 1.5%, with 1,647 homes going under contract.

Meanwhile, new listings jumped 21.1% as Realtors added 2,632 properties to the MLS.
