Sarah Lee Boson knows that perseverance is the key to closing any sale. Since starting her real estate career 19 years ago, Boson has evolved from her role as a sales agent – first transitioning to a broker position before opening up Sarah Lee Properties. As a broker/owner, Boson works with clients in the Cypress, Houston, Humble, Pear Land, Missouri City and Woodlands markets, helping sellers and buyers at all experience levels and price points, as well as foreclosures, short sales and military family relocations. “I feel a deep connection with the military,” she says, noting that as the wife of a former soldier, she moved every few years and was heavily involved in finding their new homes as well as selling their old ones. It was through her interactions as a client that Boson became familiar with the process and was inspired to leave her teaching career after 16 years to become an agent.

This year, Boson closed a short sale from start to finish. “It was not exactly short—it took me 9 months to list and sell it—but I got the job done,” she says. She also faced the unique challenge of finding agents whose goals and values matched her own to recruit for her team. “Now, I have agents that are staying and able to produce,” she says, adding that by far, her greatest accomplishment was being able to bring her husband on as an agent. “In four years, he’ll become a broker as well,” she says. “It’s the dream for us both!”

Before opening her own brokerage, Boson was an award-winning RE/MAX agent, gaining entry into the RE/MAX of Texas Presidents Club in 2003 and consistently earning the title of Realtor of the Month. Along with being a member of the Houston Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, Boson is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, a certified Military Relocation Professional and a certified Negotiation Expert. She is also a Senior Real Estate Instructor.

Citing her dependability, honesty and integrity as fundamental to her business strategy, Boson has a strict “never stop until the job is done” policy. Luckily, she’s quick to note that real estate is just as much a hobby as it as a job.

Boson is an active volunteer with her church and with the Multitude Experience organization. She enjoys sewing, exercising, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
