Houston native Andrea Fowler has devoted the last 20 years to giving back to the community that raised her, sharing her knowledge to enable clients to attain a mortgage loan and financial stability. Working with buyers seeking either Community Reinvestment Act loans or portfolio jumbo products, Fowler, a mortgage loan originator at Cadence Bank, serves clients from all backgrounds and income levels throughout the state of Texas. “I take my duty to my clients and their financial future very seriously,” she says. “Even more so when due to circumstances beyond their control, a client may be the first of a generation of family members to purchase and own a home.”

In 2020, in addition to expanding her business and doubling her volume for the second year in a row, Fowler continued to spread awareness of Cadence Bank’s Affordable Home Loan program throughout Houston’s real estate market. While simultaneously continuing her work with the NAACP, via their Homes for Houston events, Fowler continued to support small-business owners and community leaders in facilitating their access to information on the COVID-19 SBA Loans. Fowler says, “Time and again, I continue to be amazed by the Houston community and their willingness to guide, support and promote their neighbor’s businesses. If there’s one thing COVID proved, we are a proud, resilient bunch.”

An active community member both inside and outside the office, Fowler has led financial literacy classes via the YWCA’s Girls on the Rise program, Covenant Capital and the Princess Within Foundation. She is a board member of the NAACP Housing Committee, a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and a Certified Applied Neuroscience Coach.
