With 16 years of experience in The Woodlands and surrounding areas, Realtor Sandy Petermann-Williams is a firm believer that creating a personal connection with her clients is foundational to the successful sale or purchase of a home. “After an initial phone call, I set up a time to meet face to face with all parties involved,” she explains. “There is really nothing that can replace this kind of interaction.”
Real estate is both an art and a science, Petermann-Williams explains. It takes many years to hone the ability to put your arms around all the possibilities and ask the right questions at the right moment. “Reaching out to the listing agent on the seller side, for example, to determine what they’re looking for on their side of a transaction, then creating a match with my buyers,” she says. “Is it price that motivates the sellers most? Are they open to a lease-back option in order to make the timing work? Are my buyers open to these things?”
Petermann-Williams consistently ranks among the top 500 RE/MAX agents in Texas and has received multiple back-to-back honors, including the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award, the RE/MAX Hall of Fame designation and RE/MAX Chairman’s Club and Platinum Club memberships. For 12 consecutive years she’s earned the Texas Monthly Five Star Professional award. Her love of her community is reflected in her work as board vice chair and development chair for CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County.
Active across social media platforms, Petermann-Williams uses her online presence as an opportunity to provide market news, community information, and insight to those who have questions. “In real estate, you have to be a listener,” she emphasizes, “and you have to be an advisor. I love to help people get to where they want to be.”
