Jean Risha
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene announced the addition of Realtor Jean Risha to its Memorial office.
In addition to working with clients, Risha will serve as the office’s career development manager–a newly created position at the Memorial location. Her responsibilities will include training new agents and offering professional development training to current agents.
“I will be offering support to all agents as they provide an exceptional client experience,” Risha said, adding that her guiding principal is “service is everything.”
Risha has been a Houston resident since 1979, and a Spring Branch/Memorial Resident for 15 years. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She entered Macy’s executive training program and became a senior executive in charge of personnel and training in Houston and New York.
Risha took a break from her career to raise her children and become active in the Spring Branch school district, serving as president of an elementary school PTA and a member of campus and district improvement teams in Spring Branch ISD. When she decided to return to work, Risha found real estate was the most appealing field. “I love the challenge and excitement of this industry and look forward to working with my fellow agents at the Memorial office.”
For the benefit of her clients, Risha believes in the importance of continuing education and has achieved numerous professional designations including Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Short Sales and Foreclosures Resource (SFR) and Social Media Pro (SMP).
Memorial office manager, Andrew Boyd, said the addition of Risha to the team will be a great asset. “Jean has a positive attitude and the attention to detail that we look for in an agent and trainer,” he said. “She is a hard-working Realtor and a truly caring person who wants to help the entire office reach its potential.”
